Lloyd and I have been working together for nearly four years now and have relatively recently shifted to working exclusively together on mid to senior level appointments. What I really like about Lloyd is that he never pushed exclusivity, instead choosing to put his energy into consistently delivering against whatever brief we put in front of him. As a result, over time we realised that exclusivity was a no brainer as no-one else was coming close to delivering the quality or breadth of candidates that Lloyd was able to present. An important aspect of this is Lloyd’s understanding of the nuances of our business and its culture, which allows him to seek and present candidates who are likely to have a fulfilling and long-term career with us. This makes the whole process incredibly efficient and effective for all parties. He’s also a straight-shooter and I’ve found him to be fair and reasonable even around the occasional tricky negotiation, in fact it’s those kinds of discussions that have created trust and goodwill on both sides and enabled the relationship to flourish. I expect Lloyd to be an invaluable partner in delivering recruitment aspects of an ambitious growth plan.
